In the presence of Ms. Christine Ringer, Cultural Attaché of the German Embassy, Ms. Helena Marx, Deputy Head of Mission of the German Embassy, Ron Huldai, Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo and Chairman of the Tel Aviv Foundation, and Dr. Hila Oren, CEO of the Tel Aviv Foundation, the renovation of the Beeri Gallery agreement between the German government, the Tel Aviv Foundation, and Liebling House was officially signed.
The German government is set to invest approximately seven million euros in a new cultural initiative that includes the rebuilding of the Beeri Gallery and opening a new innovative cultural center, serving as a community and artistic anchor. Led by Kibbutz Beeri, the new center, which will open its doors to kibbutz members, local residents, and visitors, represents a significant milestone in the rebuilding of southern Israel.
