Sarona Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center
Israel has more high-tech start-ups and a larger venture capital industry per capita than any other country in the world. Until now there hasn’t been any systematic municipal policy to harness the talent of youth (ages 12-18) for the thriving scene of the hi-tech in Tel Aviv. In order to develop and support the next generation of Israel’s entrepreneurs, The Tel Aviv Foundation and the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Yafo seek to establish a Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Sarona, in the heart of Tel Aviv, the gateway to Israel’s economy. The first of its kind targeting the brightest minds of Israel’s youth, the state-of-the-art center will build the infrastructure for social entrepreneurs to make an impact in social and urban innovation.
