The Tel Aviv Foundation (the “Foundation”) has served as the philanthropic arm of the City of Tel Aviv for over 40 years and supports more than 800 cultural, educational, and social initiatives. The Foundation operates in full cooperation with Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, including managing coordination mechanisms and donation collection.
The Foundation places great importance on privacy protection and invests significant efforts in safeguarding the privacy rights of its employees, volunteers, donors, service providers, website users, and visitors, as well as individuals who use services provided through the Foundation’s various digital and telephone channels (the “User” or “Users”). The Foundation is committed to protecting your personal information.
We believe that Users have the right to know our policy regarding the collection and processing of information received when using our services, including our digital services (website, applications, and other online services) (collectively, the “Services”), and how such information is used.
Please note that specific services and/or applications may be subject to different rules, and a separate privacy policy may be published alongside them regarding the information collected through those services or applications.
The terms of this Privacy Policy form are an integral part of the Terms of Use. There is no legal obligation to provide your personal information unless otherwise specified. Providing such information is voluntary and based on your consent. However, if you choose not to provide certain information, the Foundation may not be able to provide some or all of the requested Services.

Information You Provide Through Online Services or Other Means

Information about you is collected through contact forms and landing pages on the website, as well as contact forms on social media. Information may also be collected through conversations with Foundation employees, service representatives, volunteers, community workers, or any representative acting on behalf of the Foundation, and any other forms that are part of online Services. You may be asked to provide personal details such as your name, email address, ID number, phone number, and similar information if you choose to do so.

Scholarship Applications

As part of its activities, the Tel Aviv Foundation is committed to promoting equal opportunities for all residents of the city across society, education, and culture. The Foundation operates support and scholarship programs designed to assist individuals from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Applications for scholarships may be submitted through the website or at the Foundation’s offices.
Providing information as part of a scholarship application is voluntary and based on the applicant’s own discretion. However, without this information, the Foundation will not be able to review eligibility for a scholarship or determine the level of eligibility. Failure to provide all or part of the required information may affect the chances of approval.
The Foundation collaborates with donors and various entities, and may transfer relevant information about scholarship applicants for the purpose of securing scholarship funding from private donors and/or foundations, and for candidate evaluation and eligibility approval.
All such applications will be handled sensitively, confidentially, and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Donations to the Foundation

As part of its activities, the Tel Aviv Foundation raises funds for social, cultural, and educational initiatives in the city. The Foundation places the highest importance on protecting donors’ privacy and operates in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and its regulations.
The Foundation’s website provides information about its activities and enables online donations through a designated link to third-party payment processing sites. The Foundation does not retain payment information and does not have access to the payment information transmitted during transactions. Payment Processing is carried out securely and in encrypted form by an external payment processing company using advanced encryption methods and mechanisms compliant with international standards (such as PCI-DSS) and the relevant credit card companies’ guidelines. Right to Access and Correction

Subject to applicable law, you are entitled to review the information held about you in the Foundation’s databases, either personally or through an authorized representative or legal guardian. The Foundation will respond as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after receiving your request.
If, after reviewing your information, you find it inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, you may request correction or deletion. The Foundation will respond within 30 days.
