Open House 2026

12 May 2026

The Tel Aviv Foundation’s jubilee year found tangible and moving expression through the 2026 “Open House” events, which traced the Foundation’s growth trajectory from its establishment in 1977 to the present day. Of approximately 185 sites opened to the general public, dozens of buildings and spaces were created in active partnership with the Foundation – living testimony to the physical and social impact the Foundation generates across the city. These projects are not merely architectural landmarks, but focal points that are reshaping the cultural and social landscape of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, transforming urban space into a welcoming home for its residents and a center of resilience and inspiration for Israeli society as a whole.

This year’s event underscores the Foundation’s central role as an engine of urban hope, working tirelessly to strengthen the city’s identity as a beacon city for the values of equality and democracy. The buildings and stories unveiled to the public represent the Foundation’s core values and its vision of making Tel Aviv-Jaffa a hub of social innovation and mutual responsibility. Looking ahead to the coming decades, the partnership between the city and the Foundation continues to serve as an anchor of stability and optimism, creating spaces that lend deep meaning to urban life and ensuring that the city’s unique spirit continues to shine far and wide.
