The goal of The Tel Aviv-Yafo municipality is to provide every child with a good start toward a lifelong education. Plans are in place for the creation of a new pre-kindergarten complex on Akiva Baron Street in the rapidly expanding Ramat Aviv Gimmel area. The school will operate daily, from 7:30AM until 4:00PM, six days a week, and 11 months per year. The curriculum will respond to children’s educational and emotional needs. Students will become exposed to numbers, letters, shapes, and learn social skills needed to get along with others. In addition to general academic, Judaic, and social skills building lessons, the school will also play a role in identifying early signs of both functional problems and developmental gaps of special needs students and differentiate the pace of their instruction accordingly.
