Dedication of the Nathan Hevrony Computer Center
Nathan Hevrony and his family dedicated the Nathan Hevrony Computer Center at the Itamar Ben Avi School on October 3, 2011. The ceremony was very emotional as children, teachers and the school principal thanked Nathan and his family for their generosity.
Thanks to Mr. Hevrony's donation, the Itamar Ben Avi School is now equipped with a state-of-the-art mobile computer lab. By using laptops and a special portable charging device, the computer lab can be moved from class to class, offering access to all students and members of staff. Many of the students do not have access to computers or internet at home. The Nathan Hevrony Computer Center now gives them the chance to keep up with their counterparts from more affluent communities and get acquainted with new technologies.
