Barry, Marlene and Keren Berelowitz from San Diego, California, family members and friends, dedicated The Ort Berelowitz College and the Ort Berelowitz Vocational Center. Thanks to a very generous donation, the Ort Yad Shapira high school and college in Tel Aviv has received new state of the art auditorium and three workshops for: automotive, electrical engineering, management and bookkeeping studies.

The majority of the school pupils come from the disadvantage neighborhoods of greater Tel Aviv. The school provides excellent education, great hope and horizon for children who failed in the regular system, who were considered “at risk” or dropping out from school.

The new facilities, upgraded the level of studies to the 21st century, will pave a promising path to hundreds of young people to become professionals in the various technical fields, to join the military and later on integrate into the working world, enabling them to support themselves and their families.
