As international chairman of the Tel Aviv Foundation, it is my pleasure to greet you to our new website. 

Since its inception in 1977, the Tel Aviv Foundation has been an invaluable partner to the Municipality. With the help of supporters from around the world, over 300 projects have been established to improve the quality of life of Tel Aviv residents, ensuring its successful passage into the 21st Century.

Tel Aviv-Jaffa must endure the complexities of urban life in today's world. While home to many of the affluent in Israeli society, it is also home to some of the poorest. 

Tel Aviv-Jaffa has a persona of its own. As a thriving metropolis appropriately referred to as the "non-stop" city, Tel Aviv is home to over 350,000 residents and serves as workplace to more than one million. It is the center of business and culture. It represents modern Israel, a symbol of the strength of Jewish values and traditions of liberalism, tolerance and pluralism.

This is one of the primary reasons for the Tel Aviv Foundation.

I wish to congratulate you, our friends and partners, on what has already been accomplished and to express my appreciation to all of our supporters who have helped transform the city and improve the quality of life within. I would like to personally invite you to visit and be my guest in Tel Aviv-Jaffa in the near future.
